Butterflies come in all colors of the rainbow . It ’s dependable , and ifyoudon’t see a finical color , you could bet that someone else , somewhere in the world , willsee that color . Take a look at some of the marvelous color of butterfly stroke .

1. Red

Behold , Cymothoe sangaris , or there d sailplane butterfly stroke . It lives in the rainforest of several fundamental African countries . If you do a Google search for the species name , most of the solution will be stores that will sell you a mounted specimen . They are apparently hunted for their facial expression .

2. Orange

This orangish butterfly is male and he ’s calledThe Cruiser(Vindula dejone erotella ) . We know he ’s manful because the female person of this mintage looks nothing like this -females are kind of greenish - Thomas Gray with a white sash . But they manage to recognize each other . The Cruiser is ground in Singapore , Malaysia , and Thailand .

3. Yellow

You see here thecommon grass yellowness butterfly(Eurema hecabe ) , found in Africa , Asia , Australia , and the South Pacific . They are migratory , but normally lodge to tropical regions .

4. Green

TheDido longwing butterfly(Philaethria dido ) has strike bright fleeceable wings sic off by black boundary line . This tropical butterfly stroke rank from Mexico to the Amazon , where it live in the rainforest canopy .

5. Blue

Here is a lovely specimen of theAnatolian navy blue butterfly(Agrodiaetus actis ) . regrettably , it ’s only found in certain regions of Turkey .

6. Purple

Although the species is theEastern - tailed blue butterfly(Cupido comyntas ) , you may see that this small guy wire is clearly purple . A lovely shade of lilac . easterly - tailed blue butterflies fare in a mixture of blues , plus regal , pink , and gray .

7. White

White is the combining of all colors , if you ’re talking about igniter , or the absence of color , if you ’re talking about paint . Shown here is aEuropean cabbage butterfly(Pieris rapae ) . They rise in Europe , Africa , and Asia , but are now found in North America , Australia , and New Zealand as well , probably introduced through caterpillars on imported vegetables . They course on loot and various weeds of the mustard greens family .

8. Black

Black is the absence of color in ignitor , or the combining of all colour in rouge . Spicebush swallow-tailed coat butterflies(Papilio troilus ) are large bleak butterflies that cover the easterly U.S. The Shirley Temple is a handy color , because these butterfly feed at nighttime !

9. No Color

The tangible absence of color is foil -no paint at all . Then you ’re talking about theglasswing butterfly(Greta oto ) . They are aboriginal to Central and South America , and flow off the ambrosia of rainforest efflorescence . We do n’t quite see how the tissue layer of its wings can be so pellucid , but they are just as strong as any other butterfly fender .
