Verizonrecently dropped over 10,000 911 callsbecause of a snowstorm in Maryland . One of those dropped calls finish with a woman almost dying and her home cauterize down .

It ’s amazing that the fair sex made it out alive . Carmela D’Antuono , a 94 - year - old woman , had fallen down her stairs during the rash and was trapped inside her burning family . It was n’t until neighbors felt the heat of the fire that they tried to feel help . Unfortunately , they were all using Verizon earphone to call , which obviously could n’t get through to 911 ( land line were out because of the rash ) . The neighbors had to shovel Baron Snow of Leicester out of the way , run in the mansion and save the charwoman themselves .

The police and ardour department did n’t arrive until half an hr later , which would ’ve change the happy ending of this story . Thankfully , an unfortunate situation , such as this one , get out the heroism in everyday people .
