On Wednesday, the USWNT player, 39, shared a cozy photo at home with her two children, sonOceanand daughterSloane. The three smile and cuddle together as she adds a sticker to the shot reading, “My happy place.”
Krieger shares her two kids withAshlyn Harris, whofiled for divorce from Kriegerin Florida in September, PEOPLE confirmed via the Seminole County Clerk’s website.
“Although it’s new information to the public, Ashlyn and Ali’s divorce began months ago and they have been living apart since the summer,” an insider told PEOPLE of the split.

Sharing some scenes from the special nighton Instagram, she wrote, “Thank you for an unforgettable night celebrating with my two beautiful kids, family, best friends, teammates, fans and incredible @gothamfc staff! I will never forget you. Thank you for making me feel so valued, appreciated and truly adored 🥰👑🫶🏽.”

PEOPLE spoke with Krieger and Harris hours before they announced the arrival of son Ocean in August 2022. When asked about potentially growing their family, Harris joked, “Yeah, we’re growing.”
“We have always dreamt of having a big family. We both have brothers who are older, really close in age, 13 and 15 months apart. It’s really exciting to think ahead about having more kids and filling the house with joy and love and happiness, and chaos as well,” Harris said.
“It’s been really nice to see everyone share it with us and support us along the way.”
