On July 14 , the space agency announced that they believed that the cause of the malfunction is to be regain in the secondary protection circuit of the Power Control Unit ( PCU ) . The primer team could n’t reset the PCU , so the root they decide on was switching to the backup side of the Science Instrument Command and Data Handling ( SI C&DH ) unit . A day later , the switch has been successful and the team is now busy making certain everything is working fine .
