Iron Man director Jon Favreau spilled a trivial about the conclusion for his latest Marvel movie to theLA Times . :
“ I want it to be completely self - arrest because a lot is go bad to happen between now and the next chapter . You ’ve got ‘ Thor , ’ you ’ve got ‘ Captain America ‘ and you ’ve got ‘ Avengers . ’ I do n’t know how all of that is going to impact this piffling handmade account of ours that we ’ve been doing over the last two films . ”
“ It ’s not a cliffhanger . We had to tuck this whole tale in . ”
The fact that even Favreau is n’t sure what happens between Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 is a little distressful , but that ’s the downside of a shared picture show universe . This also puts paid to the speculation that Iron Man 3 would be rushed into yield before The Avengers .
