Hackers Breach Cybersecurity Company In Apparent Revenge On Employee

A scourge analyst at the cybersecurity firm Mandiant has been hacked and the assailant are claiming to have lurked on his computer for a year , pile up his login credentials for various site and trail his location .

The hackers begin their hand on some internal data point about the client Mandiant and its parent company FireEye protect , including the Israeli Defense Forces . Mandiant confirmed the datum falling out .

“ We are aware of report card that a Mandiant employee ’s societal media accounts and personal laptop have been compromise . We are inquire this position , and have have steps to limit further exposure , ” a FireEye spokesperson told Gizmodo . “ While our investigating is ongoing , there is presently no grounds that FireEye or Mandiant corporate systems have been compromised . Our top precedence is ensuring that our client data point is secure . To date , we have confirmed the picture of business documents related to two freestanding customers in Israel , and have addressed this situation with those customer directly . ” The investigation is on-going , the spokesperson added .

Mandiant ’s employee , Adi Peretz , appears to have been target because of his piece of work — a mail plainly written by the hacker mentions that Peretz may have disrupted one of their breach plans . Here ’s what they allegedly had to say :
