Maren Morrisreturned to social media with an inspirational quote amid news that she’sfiled for divorcefrom husbandRyan Hurd.
On Friday, the “Circles Around This Town” singer, 33, postedan Instagram Storywith an inspirational quote that seemingly alludes to the acceptance of an uncertain future.
The quote features the partially crossed-out text “It will be fine,” before the words “it will just be, and when it is, you will face what’s necessary.”

The last slide Morris included was a TikTok clip of her posing on the red carpet at palTaylor Swift’s Eras Tour film premiere in Los Angeles last week, overlaid with an audio clip from the star’s song “Vigilante S—” where Swift sings, “I don’t dress for women / I don’t dress for men / lately I’ve been dressing for revenge.”

The docs said the couple — who share 3½-year-oldson Hayes Andrew— have been separated since the date of filing.

The former couple first met in 2013 during a songwriting session (the result wasTim McGraw’s “Last Turn Home”), and tied the knot in March 2018 after nearly three years of dating.
“We had been friends for only a couple of years, but there was always this writing chemistry in the room, and eventually, the timing of it was undeniable. We had such a foundation built off writing so many songs over the years that we were like, ‘Why are we avoiding this?'” Morristold PEOPLE in 2017.
Over the years, the pair continued to collaborate, and in 2021, released their first-everduet “Chasing After You.”The song was a country hit, and was nominated for best country duo or group performance at the Grammys.
Just weeks before news of the split broke, Morris announced that she wasleaving country musicafter feeling “very, very distanced” from the industry and its politics, prompting asupportive Instagram postfrom Hurd.

“She deserves a little sunshine for the burden she has carried for every artist and fan that feels the same way. I can’t wait for that first tour and to see all of the smiling and beautiful people who needed these songs and and also need HER. I can’t wait to make music that follows the same path, whatever that is,” he continued. “Love you, MM. Keep on keepin’ on.”
In April, the “I Can’t Love You Anymore” musiciancelebrated her 33rd birthdaywith a sweet tribute from Hurd.
“This picture is from the weekend we got engaged,” he captioned two photos on his Instagram Story, one kissing Morris onstage in 2017. “We don’t take as many photos together these days but that’s OK. Spent the day in NYC with my powerhouse celebrating her birthday. Love you, MM. Happy birthday 🎂”
In a second post, he shared Morris' photo of her lounging in bed. “Things got crazy. We ate a cake. I like getting older with you,” he raved.
