Emily BluntandJohn Krasinskiwere standouts on the red carpet of Sunday’s Writers Guild Awards.

The couple — who married in 2010 and share two daughters together, Hazel, 4, and Violet, 2 — attended the annual event at the Edison Ballroom in New York City wearing coordinating tuxedos.

Blunt, 35, looked chic in a fitted single-breasted black Dolce & Gabbana suit with a baroque print, plus a crisp white shirt and an oversize ruffled bowtie. The actress accessorized the menswear-inspired ensemble with black Jimmy Choo heels and a bold Jacob & Co ring. She wore her blonde locks up in a loose bun, and added a spot of color into her look with a bright pink lip.

Krasinski, 39, helped his classic tux pop with a velvet jacket.

A QUIET PLACE

In January,Blunt won a Screen Actors Guild Award for her supporting role in the film. After kissing Krasinski, Blunt — visibly shocked to have won her firstSAG Award— made her way to the stage to deliver a sweet speech.

“Oh my goodness me. Guys — that truly has completely blown my slicked hair back,” she said. “Thank you so, so, so much. I am so moved and completely lost for words and unprepared. I am going to share this completely with my husband, John Krasinski, because the entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart. You are a stunning filmmaker. I am so lucky to be with you and to have done this film with you.”

“Thank you for giving me the part. You would have been in major trouble if you hadn’t,” she joked.
